I saw this view from an elevation across a bridge to a pub where I was planning to have a beer. Looking down the shadows cast by the sun appeared really dark as did the tree trunks, but when I looked closer there were other colours. As a composition its different, the angle. The field been mowed in parts and there was that lovely grassy fragrance filling the air. The sunlight in Yorkshire is different to that on the south coast, warmer, more yellow and so I wanted to highlight that. My hope is that the viewer can get a sense of the evening atmosphere.
I now provide framing consultation for each original painting, the cost includes that bespoke service. (Though for international and UK shipping - where unable to collect from my gallery - there will be an additional cost). I have a curated selection of 20 frames I work with that enhance with my work and colour palettes. Obviously, if you'd like to frame the artwork yourself there will be a reduction in the list price.
