The third of three paintings inspired by the colours of the Scottish Highlands.  Whilst staying on the Isle of Skye, where the weather, clouds and colours are always shifting this painting emerged after rain had cleared on the evening of our arrival on the island.  This painting came from the good feeling of being in a new place with my brother and family, imagining who might be in all the other cottages nearby to where we were staying.  The sunset against the clouds was just beautiful and I hope I've managed to convey a sense of space, wonder and colour.
