This is a striking painting full of colour.  I deliberately choose to push a very loose style dominated by strong, purposeful brushstrokes.  What makes this painting attractive are the layers of paint, underneath is a base layer of watercolour, running in to each other, thick with pigment.  On top of that is a mix of watercolour tones, made with white paint and designers gouache paints, thick and opaque.  I'm pleased with the combination as in the light it really pops with colour.  The painting is very much influenced by Franz Marc, August Macke, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Cezanne and Maurice de Vlaminck.  This is my tribute to them. 

The cost includes exceptional quality framing, dry mounted (meaning the painting remains completely flat forever), art glass (thick UV reflective glass ensuring the painting doesn't fade), mounted and framed with the best materials.  Close from Natural Oak, Limed Oak, Dark Stained Oak or White Washed Wood (my favourite!). 

Of course if you'd prefer to frame the painting yourself then the cost is reduced.
