I've always found a peacefulness when alone walking or cycling down a single track road in the countryside.  Anywhere! In this painting I wanted to really lay the paint on think so there's texture and vibrancy.  I like to think about time when I stop in these places.  Sometimes they'll be small roads of tracks that might have been used for centuries.  I like to think about all the travellers, walkers, bikers that have passed through and when it's quiet I like to imagine that I've discovered a road no one else knows about. 

I now provide framing consultation for each original painting, the cost includes this bespoke service.
