A very loosely painted piece.  I feel like its morning but could equally be sunset.  An imagined scene of an imagined place, but when I'd finished it somehow made me think of America, in a good way, the kinds of scenes I've pictured reading american fiction or from a whole host of films.  Like all my work I'm trying to evoke a peaceful atmosphere and hope this comes across. Hard not to cite Edward Hopper as inspiration in terms of the light, but not the style, which I think is mine!

I now provide framing consultation for each original painting, the cost includes that bespoke service.
