A theme that appears to be cropping up in my painting is looking up through leaves and branches on a clear sunny day, where the blue sky shimmers in brilliance.  My overarching ambition with this particular painting is to create a feeling of peace and calm.  I didn't have a season in mind despite the yellow leaves, just a sense of trying to convey tranquility.  The title relates to the simple pleasure of laying on your back on the dry grass on a warm day, in the shade of the beautiful canopy, looking up between the boughs and branches.

The cost includes exceptional quality framing, dry mounted (meaning the painting remains completely flat forever), art glass (thick UV reflective glass ensuring the painting doesn't fade), mounted and framed with the best materials.  Close from Natural Oak, Limed Oak, Dark Stained Oak or White Washed Wood (my favourite!).
