Just Look Up (Original, Signed and Framed)

This is one of my more illustrative paintings.  Using a few techniques that enable me to represent the idea of looking up through the leaves and branches of abundant trees, it's exactly that kind of calm, simple beauty I am trying to evoke here. 

I write this in Springtime 2022 - the painting is my tribute the spring and the beginning of summer.  A time I love.  As I began to see the daffodils and snowdrops pushing through the earth, blooming in freshness and colour I felt compelled to produced this work.  It's a large painting 85cm x 60cm, which will look amazing when framed.  I hope it brings the viewer year round optimism.
