For me Summer is the time I associate with getting the most out of life.  Perhaps it's the light lasting longer in the day, the sun and warmth, the time for holidays in new places.  This painting is inspired by post impressionist painters, though watercolour wasn't often used by the artists of that movement, with the exception of Paul Klee. Inspired by the colours of Cezanne, Matisse and Andre Derain, I simply hope the viewer enjoys the explosion of colour, and the vibrancy of summer I'm trying to convey.  I feel a good place for this painting would be in a kitchen adding a good dollop of colour. 

The cost includes exceptional quality framing, dry mounted (meaning the painting remains completely flat forever), art glass (thick UV reflective glass ensuring the painting doesn't fade), mounted and framed with the best materials.  Close from Natural Oak, Limed Oak, Dark Stained Oak or White Washed Wood (my favourite!). 

Of course if you'd prefer to frame the painting yourself then the cost is reduced.
